Patricia Ode is the founder of Athera Sacred Arts and the visionary behind Athera Foundation, a nonprofit initiative devoted to supporting women and children who have survived sexual abuse, childhood trauma, and complex trauma.

Rooted in her own journey of healing and years of dedicated study, Patricia's work bridges ancient healing traditions with trauma education, somatic practices, nervous system awareness, and womb-centered healing.

Her vision was born from a profound understanding that surviving trauma and healing from trauma are two very different experiences. For many survivors, the journey extends far beyond remembering what happened. It involves rebuilding a relationship with the body, restoring a sense of safety, reclaiming personal autonomy, and discovering who they are beyond the experiences that shaped them.

Through Athera Foundation, Patricia envisions creating accessible pathways to healing for those who might otherwise lack the resources, community, or specialized support needed to navigate the lasting effects of abuse.

Her long-term vision is to establish a sanctuary where ancient wisdom and contemporary trauma-informed care can exist alongside one another. A space supported by an interdisciplinary community of practitioners, dedicated to honoring the complexity of trauma and the individuality of each survivor's healing journey.
